Lewis Hamilton said he was "proud" to bounce back to a podium during the Mexico City Grand Prix, after being disqualified last time out at Austin.
The Mercedes driver started from sixth on the grid and managed to pass Daniel Ricciardo in the opening stages, before overtaking Carlos Sainz for third before the race was suspended.
The red flag was brought out by Kevin Magnussen midway through the race, which prompted Mercedes to switch Hamilton over to the Medium tyre.
This enabled him to overtake Charles Leclerc with a brave move at Turn 1, sealing second to Max Verstappen.

Hamilton: We weren't having to push crazy hard
Hamilton acknowledged the team after the race, following his late disqualification after the United States Grand Prix stripped him of a podium.
"We weren't having to push crazy hard out there, but this is a great result considering we started sixth. I'm really proud of the team," said Hamilton.
"This has been a really difficult couple of weeks, and to bounce back from a difficult weekend last weekend with this result is really well done."
