Haas announce Azerbaijan replacement for banned Magnussen

Oliver Bearman will deputise for Kevin Magnussen during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Haas has announced.

Regular race driver Magnussen is suspended for round 17 of the 2024 season following the suspension of his super-licence after accumulating 12 penalty points.

Red Bull reveal Wolff block after 'handshake deal' with Mercedes

Helmut Marko has revealed how close Red Bull came to switching to Mercedes engines after deciding to ditch Renault.

The start of the current turbo-hybrid era in 2014 saw Mercedes romp to success as it chalked up championships and grand prix victories, whilst its rivals floundered in its wake, not least French manufacturer Renault.

Verstappen opts for surprise pick as team-mate

Max Verstappen has shared who he would choose to partner him if he were create his own driver line up for the Le Mans 24 hours.

The Dutchman, whilst being interviewed by Jarno Opmeer on the Red Bull Esports driver's YouTube channel, was asked to select four drivers to hypothetically form a team with for the legendary race.

Ferrari attempted to lure Lambiase from Red Bull - report

Ferrari looked to pry Max Verstappen's race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase from Red Bull earlier this year, according to a report.

The Italian squad is looking to a new era in 2025 when seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton will join alongside Charles Leclerc.

Doohan reveals 'strange' Schumacher Alpine experience

Jack Doohan has labelled an Alpine F1 shootout with Haas outcast Mick Schumacher as "strange."

Doohan and Schumacher, who are good friends away from the track, took part in a test day with Alpine recently, with the team needing to field a replacement for Esteban Ocon, who had opted to depart and join Haas.

Leclerc calls for Ferrari 'reset' following Italian GP triumph

Charles Leclerc has called for a "reset" at Ferrari after he stormed to victory in front of the Tifosi at the Italian Grand Prix.

The 26-year-old took his second win of the season, going two-for-two in home race triumphs this season, having won the first Monaco Grand Prix of his career in May.
