George Russell has announced his engagement to his partner Carmen Mundt.
The Briton confirmed the news on social media, with the question popped during the summer break.
Russell and Mundt have been dating for several years, and she can often be seen accompanying him during grand prix weekends.
In a simple Instagram post, Russell announced the news through four pictures and a caption showing the emoji of an engagement ring.
The post quickly racked up a large volume of likes and even received a congratulatory message from Russell’s Mercedes team-mate Kimi Antonelli.
Russell has become the latest F1 driver to delve into marriage, with Charles Leclerc tying the knot earlier this year after getting engaged in 2025.
Russell will return to F1 duties later this month at the Dutch Grand Prix, where he aims to get his F1 title hopes back on track.
