The Ayrton Senna-inspired helmet worn by Pierre Gasly at last year's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix will be going up for auction in order to raise money for the Senna Foundation. Gasly wore the helmet with the blessing of the Brazilian's family as the serious returned to Imola, the place where Senna lost his life in tragic circumstances back in 1994. Although the Frenchman qualified in fourth spot his race didn't end with success, as he was forced to retire after eight laps due to a power unit issue. However there is some good that will come from the event, as the helmet used by Gasly will go up for auction and raise funds for the Senna Foundation, which helps and supports the education of young people and children throughout Senna's native Brazil. Along with Gasly's helmet, there will also be two 1:2 scale mini helmets signed by the Frenchman put up for auction as well.
