Gabriel Bortoleto has triggered the first red flag of qualifying at this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.
The Brazilian came to a halt at the Nouvelle Chicane after clipping the barrier on the inside of the corner, resulting in broken front suspension.
Bortoleto was sitting 15th at the time of the incident, with the red flag being waved with just over two minutes remaining in the first part of qualifying.
While Bortoleto's car still needed to be recovered from the circuit, the Audi driver avoided making contact with the wall on the outside of the chicane, reducing the extent of the repair work required.
At the time of the red flag, Ferrari's Charles Leclerc was at the top of the timesheets.
