F1 will make the short trip from Barcelona, across the Gulf of Lion, to Monaco for the seventh and most famous race of the season.
Often described as a 'jewel in the crown' for Formula 1, the opinion dividing Circuit de Monaco will come with added intrigue in 2022 as the sport's newest breed of cars prepare to do battle on track.
There could also be six cars in the fight for the win, with Mercedes having closed the gap to Red Bull and Ferrari during the Spanish Grand Prix.
Charles Leclerc's home weekend will follow the usual format, with two 60-minute practice sessions taking place on Friday: FP1 is scheduled for 13:00 UK time, with FP2 following at 16:00.
On Saturday, FP3 will be held at 12:00 UK time, ahead of qualifying at 15:00. This could prove to be the most important qualifying session of the season and will set the grid for the 78-lap race through Monaco's twisting streets.
RacingNews365.com will be on hand in Monte Carlo to cover all of the action and you can find our live blog here. We will also have exclusive interviews, news and analysis throughout the entire weekend.
