Lando Norris will look to stretch out his championship advantage during the sprint race in Brazil after securing pole position.
The Briton bested Kimi Antonelli to the top spot, while title rival Oscar Piastri will line up in third place.
Joining Piastri on the second row is the second Mercedes of George Russell, while the third row features Fernando Alonso and Max Verstappen.
Lewis Hamilton will take the start from outside the top 10, while Yuki Tsunoda will be seeking to make an impression during the shorter race as he occupies 19th on the grid.
