For the fourth time in four 2024 races, it will be Max Verstappen who leads the Formula 1 field to green with his pole position for the Japanese Grand Prix.
He narrowly pipped team-mate Sergio Perez to P1 by less than a tenth to continue his domination of qualifying with this being his fifth straight pole - stretching back to Abu Dhabi 2023.
Lando Norris and Fernando Alonso slot in on the second-row with Lewis Hamilton only seventh for Mercedes.
