Franco Colapinto's management team have taken to social media to defend the Alpine driver following Oliver Bearman's huge Japanese GP crash.

Colapinto was the other driver involved in the incident, with his Alpine car going into harvesting mode approaching Spoon curve, whilst Bearman was deploying energy.

Fernando Alonso issues fresh Aston Martin hope after key breakthrough

Fernando Alonso is hopeful Aston Martin can make strong steps forward after collecting uninterrupted data on his car at the Japanese Grand Prix.

Alonso ran to the very end of the race at the Suzuka Circuit, marking the first time this year that Aston Martin has completed a race distance.

F1 champion to make surprise London Marathon appearance for special cause

Sebastian Vettel is gearing up for his sporting comeback by taking on the London Marathon alongside F1 journalist Tom Clarkson. 

The four-time world champion will participate in the 26.2-mile race through the streets of London on Sunday, April 26th, to raise funds for the Brain & Spine Foundation and the Grand Prix Trust charities.

Toto Wolff delivers stern response to Christian Horner F1 block rumour

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has denied the German manufacturer has taken an interest in Alpine F1 shares simply to rival Christian Horner.

In recent months, it emerged that Otro Capital was open to selling its 24 per cent stake at Alpine.

Why Max Verstappen plays a key role in the F1 driver market

Max Verstappen has already made it abundantly clear that he is not enjoying the new technical regulations. 

The drivers can't fully push through corners this year due to the heavy influence of managing the energy from the car battery, which provides half of the power alongside the combustion engine.

George Russell victim of freak Mercedes 'bug' as warning issued

George Russell was the victim of a freak Mercedes power unit 'bug' during the Japanese GP, which cost him a podium finish. 

Russell endured a frustrating race at Suzuka, where, after dropping from second off the line, he recovered to run in the position behind Oscar Piastri until he pitted on the lap the safety car was deployed due to Oliver Bearman's crash.
