Ferrari have presented their all-new F1-75 to the world ahead of the 2022 Formula 1 season getting underway. Continuing teammates Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, along with team boss Mattia Binotto, all featured in Thursday afternoon's launch presentation from the Italian outfit's factory in Maranello. As the car broke cover, a striking new livery was revealed, with Ferrari's traditional red paintwork now accompanied by black front and rear wings, drawing similarities to their cars from the early 1990s.
Rival teams intrigued by Ferrari's potential
Ferrari were among the first teams to switch their focus to the 2022 rules reset, much earlier than 2021 title challengers Mercedes and Red Bull. As such, Mercedes boss Toto Wolff and Red Bull counterpart Christian Horner have both made a point of Ferrari's potential this season , as the Scuderia look to challenge for their first F1 championship in more than a decade. Ferrari last won the Constructors' title in 2008, with Kimi Raikkonen their most recent Drivers' champion in 2007.
