Ferrari is "evaluating all options" when it comes to whether Lewis Hamilton's race engineer Riccardo Adami will continue with the seven-time F1 drivers' champion in 2026, according to team principal Fred Vasseur.

Speaking to Corriere Della Sera at the Italian team's end-of-season press debrief, the 57-year-old confirmed the Scuderia was open to changing things up on Hamilton's side of the pit wall, after he endured a difficult first campaign in red.

When asked whether Adami would remain Hamilton's race engineer, the Frenchman responded: "We're evaluating all options."

The 105-time grand prix winner's seemingly fraught relationship with Adami was a prominent narrative across the year, with numerous team radio clips going viral of tense moments or miscommunications between the pair.

It came amid Hamilton failing to score a podium finish all season, for the first time in his F1 career, as he slumped to finishing 86 points adrift of Charles Leclerc in the drivers' standings.

Now, Ferrari and the British driver head towards 2026 under considerable pressure to turn around the Prancing Horse's fortunes, with no championship title being returned to Maranello since 2008.

The reality of the first season together was a stark departure from the wave of optimism and anticipation that Hamilton rode to the Scuderia on, with the SF-25 also failing to live up to expectations.

Speaking to media, including RacingNews365, Vasseur addressed what Ferrari and Hamilton must do to make strides, with those remarks further suggesting an openness to considering all available possibilities.

"We have to tackle each point, and honestly, it's also a matter of mindset, a matter of understanding each other... I'm speaking about one side of the garage, in this case, because with Charles, we know each other," he explained.

"But in this [Hamilton's] case, it's more to understand exactly what he needs, what he wants, and for him — the same for me — to understand exactly what he would like to do."
