The 2026 F1 race calendar has officially been unveiled as the sport heads towards a new era.

F1 is set to travel to 24 different venues once again during the campaign following its expansion to the historic figure in 2024.

The Imola F1 circuit is seeking a return to the race calendar after missing out on a spot on next year's schedule.

F1 confirmed its 24-race calendar for the 2026 campaign on Tuesday morning, with Madrid replacing Imola.

F1 steward Derek Warwick has suggested Lewis Hamilton may already be thinking about calling time on his career.

Hamilton made a switch to Ferrari this season following a successful 12-year stint with Mercedes, winning six F1 titles in that time.

Lewis Hamilton actions create Max Verstappen comparison: 'I got a bit surprised'

Former F1 driver Sebastien Buemi has revealed that he was "surprised" by Lewis Hamilton not defending from Nico Hulkenberg in Barcelona, whilst Max Verstappen refused to "give up" against George Russell. 

The closing laps of the Spanish Grand Prix threw up multiple shocks, the first of which being Verstappen driving into the side of Russell at Turn 5.

Max Verstappen delivered blow to F1 title hopes: 'An illusion'

Former F1 driver Ralf Schumacher does not believe Max Verstappen has a strong chance of winning the drivers' title this year.

Verstappen entered the campaign looking to secure his fifth consecutive championship - a feat achieved just once before by Ralf's brother, Michael.
