Channel 4 F1 presenter Billy Monger has received a driving ban for crashing his road vehicle into three parked cars.

The 25-year-old was convicted of driving without due care and attention at Guildford Magistrates' Court in connection with the incident that occurred on January 19 earlier this year.

Monger, who has presented F1 since 2019, was disqualified from driving for 49 days and ordered to pay fines and costs of £2,694.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police confirmed the accident occurred at Snatts Hill in Limpsfield, Surrey, at roughly 11:55 PM.

Monger collided with a Volkswagen Lupo, a Volkswagen Golf, and a Citroen - causing damage to all three vehicles, as well as damaging a lamp post, a hedge and a wall of a nearby property.

"Monger was not paying attention when he lost control of his car which resulted in him colliding with three parked cars, causing significant damage to the vehicles before then colliding with a hedge and wall belonging to a nearby house,” said Rick Scholey, supervisor for the road traffic collision team, as quoted by Sky News.

"Thankfully, no one was in the road at the time otherwise this could have had far more serious consequences."

Monger has been a double amputee since 2017 when a crash in Formula 4 resulted in the loss of both of his legs.
