RacingNews365 readers have backed McLaren to beat Red Bull to the 2024 F1 Constructors' Championship.

Since the Miami Grand Prix, the MCL38 machine has been regarded as the fastest car in the field, but McLaren only has one win to show for its efforts, through Lando Norris in Miami.

In the seven races since Miami up to the British GP, McLaren scored 171 points to Red Bull's 134, taking 37 points out of the Milton Keynes-based team's advantage.

The current gap, heading into the Hungarian GP between them is 78 points, but Red Bull are struggling to harvest points in its second car with Sergio Perez, who has scored just 11 points since Imola.

This means Red Bull is fighting with one hand behind its back against the McLaren pair of Norris and Oscar Piastri, who are both hauling regular podiums and top-five finishes.

With that in mind, we asked the our readers if they thought it was a possibility if McLaren could win their first Constructors' title since 1998 by defeating Red Bull.

The results, which can be seen below, show that you think it is possible for Red Bull to be denied a third crown in a row, but not everyone was convinced.

Reader Sky High commented: "Even since Max stopped winning everything and with Checo not helping, McLaren is not gaining much on RedBull. No chance to beat them to the Constructors' trophy."
