Formula 1 fans have backed Alpine as being the best fit for Christian Horner, in what would result in a remarkable partnership between the former Red Bull boss and Flavio Briatore.
Since being handed the axe by Red Bull as its team principal just a matter of days after this season's British GP, Horner has been searching for his next gig in the pinnacle of motorsport.
While the Briton is currently undertaking a period of gardening leave, it is rumoured that he can return to F1 early next season.
Horner has already been linked to several teams, such as, Alpine, Ferrari, Cadillac, Aston Martin and Haas.
As of yet, all teams which Horner has been rumoured with have denied reports that a move could be on the cards.
A return of Horner in some form feels inevitable, but the big question is which team could he join?
In a recent RacingNews365 poll, fans were asked to vote for which outfit would best suit the 51-year-old, with a resounding 41.2% picking Alpine as the best fit.
If Horner joined Alpine, it would see him work alongside the team's executive advisor Briatore. Ferrari was the second-most voted for option, collecting 26.6% of the votes.
At the bottom of the list was Haas, who only 1.5% view as a suitable fit for Horner.
