F1 salaries 2026
What a driver earns in Formula 1 is always one of those fascinating subjects that comes up every season.
Just what do the likes of Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc earn per year?
To that end, RacingNews365 spoke to several sources within the F1 paddock to come up with an overview of the estimated salaries of all the F1 drivers.
To be clear, the figures collated are their annual income, excluding team and performance bonuses, and any contracts with their personal sponsors.
For a driver like seven-time F1 champion Hamilton, for argument's sake, following his move to Ferrari at the start of last year, it is understood his annual salary is $60 million per year. In addition, bonuses and sponsorships see Hamilton pocket a cool $100m.
At the bottom end of the pay scale is the only rookie on the grid this year, Arvid Lindblad, who has joined Racing Bulls. Although rising through the Red Bull Junior programme, the British-Swedish driver will collect between $500,000-$1 million this season.
