Esteban Ocon is at risk of disqualification from Azerbaijan Grand Prix qualifying following a technical breach.
In parc ferme, the FIA performed a rear-wing main plane tip deflection test on Ocon's Haas machine, but the figure measured exceeded the allowed deflection of 0.5mm.
Earlier this season, new rules were introduced to clampdown on F1's flexi-wings saga, with stricter limits coming into force for the Spanish GP.
Technical breaches such as this are often followed by a disqualification, with Ocon qualifying 18th fastest, falling in Q1, with only Pierre Gasly and Alex Albon behind.
Team-mate Oliver Bearman had made it through to Q2, but brought out one of six red flags early on after hitting the wall exiting Turn 2 on his first flying lap of the segment.
