Esteban Ocon has praised Haas' rapid turnaround to fix its issues, stating it carries out double the work compared to any team he has worked with in the past.
Haas endured a difficult start to the year in Australia as it languished at the back of the field throughout the weekend.
However, it has since taken a considerable step forward and has scored points at the last three of four rounds, including a double top 10 finish in China and Bahrain, respectively.
Haas' slow start mirrored the situation Alpine found itself in 12 months ago when it struggled for pace in the early start of the season before it took steps forward in the second half of the campaign.
Having raced for three teams prior to his Haas switch, Ocon insisted the effort the American squad has produced to turn around its fortunes immensely outweighs any previous experience he's witnessed.
“I'm not going to compare with teams but from where I'm sitting, I don't feel this team is small,” Ocon told media including RacingNews365.
“This team is reacting quicker than I've ever felt before in terms of producing parts, in terms of producing solutions, coming up with data points.
“It’s great to see. Yes, we are a lot less [in terms of employees], but there is two times the work [being carried out] that has been done in the past.”

Haas' strong run of form across the last three rounds has lifted it to fifth place in the constructors' standings with 20 championship points.
Having sprung into action to introduce upgrades off the back of a disappointing opening race, Ocon voiced satisfaction in hitting back at those who wrote off its season after one round.
“I've never seen a team coming with a solution in two weeks in terms of just bringing a new update in reaction to what's going on from the beginning of the week of the year
“It's extremely satisfying to work with such a team that takes action quickly to fix things.
“We can be proud, it was a big relief in China to see that we were able to fight. It was a massive shock for all of us to see that we were two and a half or three seconds lower than everyone else.
“A lot of people were saying, 'that's it for their year. They are going to be in the back the whole year. They haven't done a great job over the winter'.
“Nobody believed that here. We knew there was potential in the car. We just needed to unlock it.”
