Early forecasts suggest next weekend's Dutch Grand Prix will be a wet and windy affair, following on from recent tricky conditions in Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps.
According to our weather partner Weeronline, Zandvoort is set for a weekend of wet weather when F1 returns from its annual summer break next week.
Friday looks set to feature the best of the weather, although 5 mm of rain is still forecast. As for the weekend itself, heavier showers are expected.
Across next Saturday and Sunday, 11-12 mm of rain are expected on both days each, with strong wind also set to cause issues for the drivers.
Windy conditions often feature during the Dutch GP due to Zandvoort's location alongside the seashore, with the circuit itself being built into the sand dunes.
As recently as the 2023 Dutch GP did heavy rain create a chaotic but exciting race, something the early forecasts suggest could be replicated.
