Doohan called up by Alpine for Canada outing

Jack Doohan will make his first free practice appearance of the season at the Canadian Grand Prix this weekend with Alpine.

Doohan will replace Esteban Ocon for the opening practice session of the weekend around the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Verstappen reacts as Perez extends at Red Bull

Max Verstappen has reacted to the announcement that Sergio Perez will be his team-mate for the next two Formula 1 seasons.

Ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix, Red Bull confirmed Perez's extended deal which will cover the 2025 and 2026 campaigns.

Steiner warns Alpine against signing Schumacher to F1 team

Ex-Haas Formula 1 team principal Guenther Steiner has warned the Alpine team against signing Mick Schumacher.

Alpine currently has a spot open for next year after it confirmed that Esteban Ocon would leave the squad at the end of the 2024 campaign.

Red Bull development working on 'three cars’ at the same time

Red Bull technical director Pierre Wache has explained why the team is working on three cars at the moment, with the champions suddenly being fought for supremacy now and F1 set for a major rules overhaul in 2026.

With the Milton Keynes outfit having dominated F1 for two years, the French engineer insists the technical side of the team is still "massively focused" on the task at hand, as Ferrari and McLaren continue to close in.

Lawson fires ultimatum warning to Red Bull over F1 drive

Liam Lawson has asserted his Formula 1 promotion “could be anywhere” if Red Bull doesn't grant him a full-time drive in 2025.

Lawson has been heavily linked with a spot at the RB team, where he currently acts as its reserve driver.

F1 champion makes race ban plea for ‘dangerous and ridiculous’ Magnussen

1997 Formula 1 world champion Jacques Villeneuve has lashed out at Kevin Magnussen following his crash on the opening lap of the Monaco Grand Prix.

Magnussen was involved in an incident with Sergio Perez that eliminated both drivers from the race, as well as Magnussen's Haas team-mate Nico Hulkenberg.
