The #51 Ferrari's chances of taking victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans have taken a knock following a costly spin while entering the pit lane.
Pitting from the lead of the race, Alessandro Pier Guidi lost control of his car as he turned the chicane at the pit lane entrance, leaving him in the gravel trap.
Luckily, the Italian was able to recover and returned to the pit lane where he was serviced - but he was also placed under investigation for crossing the white entry line.
Ferrari has largely dominated the race with the #83 customer car taking the lead after Pier Guidi's spin.
The #50 car, which won the 2024 event, now runs in second place with four and a half hours left in the race.
