Christian Horner has been spotted in the MotoGP paddock at this weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix, held at Circuito de Jerez.
The Briton has been without a position in motorsport since being axed by Red Bull as its team principal following last year’s British Grand Prix.
He has been linked with a return to Formula 1 as part of a group of investors looking to invest in Alpine.
As of yet, a deal has not been reached, keeping Horner out of F1. However, he was spotted on the live broadcast in the MotoGP paddock.
Cameras caught him in the garage of the factory Honda MotoGP team, deep in conversation with HRC president Koji Watanabe.
Horner holds a strong relationship with Watanabe, following the time Honda spent as Red Bull's power unit supplier.
MotoGP has been receiving much interest from the F1 paddock, particularly due to F1 owner Liberty Media’s involvement in the pinnacle of motorcycle racing.
Former Haas F1 team principal Guenther Steiner recently led a consortium to acquire the Tech3 KTM outfit, acting as its CEO.
