The #12 Cadillac holds a nearly one-minute lead as morning hit the Le Mans 24 Hours, although the sister #38 machine was forced to retire druing the night.
The #38, currently being helmed by Louis Deletraz, moved to the lead during the 14th hour of the twice-around-the-clock test, passing the #8 Toyota through a round of pit-stops.
But a couple of hours later, the #38 machine was forced to retire with power steering issues whilst running in second place, which is currently held by the #20 BMW of Sheldon van der Linde.
The two Toyotas, with Brendon Hartley in the #8 and Nyck de Vries in the #7 run third and fourth, with Alessandro Pier Guidi's #51 Ferrari completing the Hypercar top five.
In LMP2, the #30 Duqueine Oreca 07 earned itself a strong lead, with Mercedes F1 junior Doriane Pin at the wheel, although it was overtaken by Tom Dillman in the #43 with just over six-and-a-half hours remaining.
In LMGT3, Jonny Edgar currently leads in the #33 Corvette, with Nicky Catsburg putting in a remarkable stint during the night.
