Max Verstappen has become a father for the first time after partner Kelly Piquet gave birth to a daughter, named Lily. The Dutchman missed his media duties ahead of the Miami Grand Prix, staying at home in Monaco until Thursday afternoon European time. However, the Red Bull driver is now in Florida and is due to take full part in the sixth round of the season at the Miami International Autodrome. The couple announced their happy news on social media, with a caption reading: "Welcome to the world, sweet Lily 🌸 Our hearts are fuller than ever - you are our greatest gift. We love you so much 💗" The second photo on the post shows that Lily was born prior to Verstappen departing for the Sunshine State.
