Lewis Hamilton is at risk of being disqualified from the Chinese Grand Prix after his Ferrari failed post-race scrutineering checks.
Hamilton, who finished in sixth place following a two-stop strategy, failed the skid wear checks carried out by the FIA post-race.
The rearmost skidblock was measured in three areas, and found to be 8.6mm on the left-hand side, 8.6mm through the centreline of the car, and 8.5mm on the right-hand side.
The legal limit is 9mm thickness across the entire skidblock.
As such, Hamilton has been referred to the stewards for the breach of the technical regulations, putting at risk his classification.
A disqualification for Hamilton will be his third after the 2009 Australian GP for lying to the stewards, and the 2023 United States GP for failing skid-block checks at Mercedes.
It comes as Ferrari team-mate Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly also failed checks in Shanghai for being underweight.
UPDATE: Hamilton was formally disqualified from the results for the infringement.
