Christian Horner has left Red Bull with immediate effect, vacating his position as the team principal of the Milton Keynes-based outfit after over 20 years.
Horner had a contract to remain as Red Bull's team principal until 2030; however, it has been decided that he will immediately vacate his position and leave the organisation.
It means that for the first time since the Austrian outfit entered Formula 1, it will have a new team boss, a position Horner held from 2005 and Red Bull's entry into the sport.
Red Bull has endured a disappointing 2025 campaign which has seen Max Verstappen fall 69 points adrift of Oscar Piastri in the drivers' title race.
In addition, its swap of Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda has proved unsuccessful, with Tsunoda having matched Mark Webber's 2009 record of five consecutive grands prix without a point – a Red Bull driver record.
The challenging campaign has seen Red Bull slip to fourth in the constructors' title, and a staggering 288 points behind McLaren.
