Daniel Ricciardo set the pace for McLaren as this week's F1 test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya reached its halfway point. Ricciardo's best time of 1:20.355 - which follows teammate Lando Norris' pace-setting effort on Wednesday - put him a couple of tenths clear of Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz, as both made use of the Medium (C3) tyre compound. Meanwhile, Red Bull brought out the first red flag of the test when Sergio Perez came to a halt with a gearbox issue shortly before lunch. The full times and tyre compounds are listed below.
