Aston Martin has secured an F1-first collaboration with an iconic product due to be launched later this year.
The team has become the first licensee with Meccano, resulting in the production of a 1/8 scale model based on last year's AMR25, designed for adult fans and experienced builders.
In what is also the first collaboration on a product for Meccano, according to Aston Martin, the model "features an authentic design with realistic mechanical functions, including working steering, and a fully functioning engine".
Matt Chapman, head of licensing and merchandising at Aston Martin, said: "Engineering excellence sits at the heart of everything we do at Aston Martin Aramco.
"Our license agreement with Meccano allows us to translate the complexity of our race car into a tangible experience for fans, celebrating both innovation and craftsmanship in a unique and engaging way.
"We are also proud that we are the first Formula 1 team to collaborate with Meccano on a licensed product."
The model will be available from August.
