Aston Martin has become the latest team to unveil its new car for the 2025 Formula 1 season, the AMR25.
The British team's new challenger is an evolution of the outfit's car used last year, which largely disappointed.
Fifth in the constructors' standings was the best Aston Martin could achieve, although it came without a single podium.
With the new power unit regulations set to be introduced next year, the Silverstone-based team has opted against designing an entirely new car for the upcoming campaign.
Instead, it has opted to improve what it ran last year, based on lessons and feedback from Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso. The AMR25 will be seen on track for the first time on Monday in Bahrain, for Aston Martin's shakedown test.
As outlined by the team, the front wing is a major evolution of what was introduced in the latter stages of last season.
The new front wing has been designed to improve low-speed downforce and balance, giving both Alonso and Stroll more stability through each phase of a corner.
A very noticeable change on the AMR25 is the reprofiled sidepods, which are deeply undercut and feature a swooping channel for better airflow along the length of the upper surface.
Further changes made by the team include a reconfiguration of the radiator layout, which has been done due to the new sidepods.
In addition, the engine cover now features a more 'jagged, razor-sharp spine' from the very top to the bottom near the rear wing.
Better airflow management has clearly been a key focus, with the floor design having also been revised to improve airflow underneath the car and over the rear wing.
Crucially, Aston Martin has opted for a push-rod suspension layout at both ends of the car, whilst Ferrari and McLaren are using pull-rod suspension. The rear wing has also been redesigned to limit corner entry sliding.
A final change for the AMR25 is new brake ducts for both the front and rear of the car, again to improve airflow management but also brake cooling.
