AlphaTauri have become the latest team to publicly reveal that they have passed Formula 1 crash tests for the 2023 season. Crash tests are an essential part in getting the new car signed off, with all teams having to pass before their new design hits the track for the first time. Haas revealed that they had hit the mark back in December, and AlphaTauri have now stated that their AT04 machine has also met the requirements demanded. The team will reveal their new car at a launch event on 11 February, with third year driver Yuki Tsunoda being joined by rookie Nyck de Vries following Pierre Gasly's departure to Alpine.
