Alfa Romeo have kicked off their pre-season test in Barcelona by sending out the C42 in an interim livery. Their brand new machine is yet to be formally presented, with the official car and livery launch scheduled, unusually, after the first test. The C42 will be publicly unveiled on 27 February. Ahead of the launch, Alfa Romeo are taking part in the three-day pre-season test in Barcelona, with rookie signing Guanyu Zhou, new arrival Valtteri Bottas and test driver Robert Kubica all scheduled to drive. On Wednesday morning, the C42 peeled out onto the track bedecked in a temporary livery with Kubica at the wheel. It was previously seen during the team's recent filming day at Fiorano, where Bottas drove the car in the same camouflage pattern.
