It is looking like a rather wet Saturday at the 2022 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix as torrential rain moves in. Qualifying for W Series was repeatedly red-flagged due to the conditions, before being called off with five minutes of the session still to run. Marta Garcia took pole for tomorrow's race, with title hopeful Jamie Chadwick eighth. RacingNews365's weather partner WeerOnline forecasts rain throughout the third practice session, and there is the possibility it could decrease before qualifying. That is due to get underway at 2pm BST - 9pm local time in Singapore. The weather in Singapore is dictated by its proximity to the equator - only about 80 miles or so. Similar unpredictable conditions were experienced in Malaysia when F1 visited Sepang between 1999 and 2017.
