The #20 BMW M Team WRT secured victory in the Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, the second round of the 2026 WEC season.
Robin Frijns took the chequered flag, beating its team-mate, the Kevin Magnussen-led #15 car by just under two seconds.
It was BMW's first victory, three years after rejoining the highest class of endurance racing. Its last victory as a manufacturer was in 1999.
It was a scintillating crescendo to the race, with four cars in the hunt for second, all whilst chasing down the leading machine.
The #50 Ferrari, driven by Antonio Fuoco, rounded out the podium in Belgium, with the #007 Aston Martin and #7 Toyota fourth and fifth, respectively.
The #21 Ferrari took victory in LMGT3, besting the #10 Garage 59 McLaren and the #27 Aston Martin, which completed the rostrum in that class.
