2026 Le Mans 24 Hours - Saturday morning weather report
The 2026 Le Mans 24 Hours is set to avoid being hit by rain as the 94th edition of the twice-around-the-clock race is held.
Due for a 16:00 local time start on Saturday, June 13th, the Circuit de la Sarthe is set to enjoy warm weather throughout, in the mid-teens in terms of Celsius overnight, up to mid-20s during the day portions of the race.
The only real challenge drivers could face is set to be changes in wind direction.
At the start of the race, the wind will be blowing from the north-west, creating a head-wind through the Dunlop Curves and a tail-wind from right to left across the Mulsanne straight, from the driver's point of view.
As night sets in and then turns back to day again, current forecasts anticipate a shift with winds coming from the direct north, and then the north-east towards the end of the race.
The Mulsanne straight runs directly south, with the run from Arnage, through the Porsche Curves and final chicanes, and across the start/finish start, running north.
