Rafael Camara has taken his fifth Formula 2 pole position of the year, narrowly besting team-mate Joshua Durksen to the top spot.
Camara, who currently sits third in the standings, was just 0.057 ahead of Durksen, while Alex Dunne had to settle for third place.
Championship leader Nikola Tsolov was placed down in sixth, behind team-mate Noel Leon and Martinius Stenshorne.
The opening race of the weekend will take place on Saturday, at 14:15 local time.
