F1 faces a potentially more settled evening at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on Sunday, with the threat of rain appearing lower than during a weather-disrupted Saturday at the Singapore Grand Prix.
The 62-lap race is scheduled to start at 8pm local time, when temperatures are expected to sit around 27°C, with high humidity making conditions feel warmer for drivers tackling the demanding street circuit.
The latest forecast suggests a relatively low risk of rain during the evening, although showers cannot be entirely ruled out.
Saturday provided a dramatic reminder of Singapore's unpredictable tropical weather. A torrential downpour shortly before the scheduled Sprint start left standing water around the circuit, forcing a 30-minute delay while officials assessed conditions.
Drivers eventually took to the track on intermediate tyres, with heavy spray and changing conditions adding another layer of difficulty to the action.
Friday, by contrast, offered a largely dry start to the weekend, allowing teams to complete their preparations without significant weather disruption.
For Sunday's race, the outlook is more encouraging. Temperatures should remain in the high 20s, with light winds and a relatively modest chance of precipitation through the evening and into the night.
Any passing shower could nevertheless have a significant impact on grip, particularly around the circuit's tight corners and painted street surfaces.
With the race taking place under the floodlights, humidity and heat are likely to remain the principal weather challenges for the drivers.
Teams will also be monitoring radar closely, mindful of Saturday's downpour and the possibility that another tropical shower could change the complexion of the race.
