Kimi Antonelli has taken his fifth consecutive victory by triumphing at the Monaco Grand Prix, in a fractured, chaotic afternoon in Monte Carlo.
In doing so, he matches Lewis Hamilton's run of five straight wins with the Brackley-based squad. The now-Ferrari driver finished second in the Principality.
However, the 19-year-old is still two races adrift of Nico Rosberg's record for the Toto Wolff-led team.
The race was red-flagged on Lap 68 of 78 due to the track surface appearing to break up at the final corner. The issue appeared to have led to Lance Stroll crashing into retirement, then followed by home hero Charles Leclerc, who crashed at the same corner at the subsequent safety car restart.
But the former blamed his Aston Martin, and the latter blamed the brakes on his Ferrari.
After a lengthy stoppage, the restart occurred with multiple drivers under investigation or due to serve a penalty for various offences, from speeding in the pit lane to safety car infringements.
However, Antonelli outlasted all the chaos and confusion to extend his lead in the F1 drivers' championship to 68 points over team-mate George Russell, who finished outside the points.
