Charles Leclerc secured an impressive victory in the British Grand Prix, as the Monegasque led home the field behind the safety car
Kimi Antonelli was looking set to claim the win at Silverstone and was catching Leclerc at a rapid rate, before suffering a bizarre Mercedes wheel shield failure.
A late safety car was also thrown into the mix, following an odd crash for Max Verstappen at Stowe while in third. Unfortunately, there was insufficient time to restart the race.
It left George Russell to finish in second after choosing not to pit behind the safety car, with Lewis Hamilton in third. Lando Norris and Isack Hadjar completed the top five.
