Kimi Antonelli secured pole position for the British Grand Prix, leading a surprise Charles Leclerc on the front row.
Antonelli secured pole with a 1m 28.111, almost two tenths clear of Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, with the seven-time world champion third on the grid.
George Russell failed to find much improvement on his final lap and had to settle for fourth on the grid, ahead of an impressive effort from Isack Hadjar in fifth.
Reigning world champion Lando Norris split the two Red Bull drivers in sixth, with Oscar Piastri in eighth and the Racing Bulls duo completing the top 10.
