Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli set the pace on the final day of the opening test in Bahrain, with Lewis Hamilton suffering an early end to running.
The seven-time world champion stopped on circuit with just 10 minutes remaining on the clock, causing a red flag – the session did resume.
Antonelli's 1m 33.669 was unable to be touched, having taken over from George Russell for Friday afternoon.
It was a Mercedes one-two on the timesheets as Russell was second quickest, with Hamilton, Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen completing the top five.
