Max Verstappen topped the morning session on the opening day of the first of two three-day tests in Bahrain.
The four-time world champion set a 1m 35.433, to top the timesheets by just under two-tenths of a second ahead of McLaren's Oscar Piastri.
It was a largely smooth opening four hours to the test in Bahrain, with the exception of one red flag for Franco Colapinto who came to a halt between Turns 7 and 8.
All 11 teams made it onto the circuit during the session, marking Williams' first official running ahead of the 2026 F1 season.
