Arvid Lindblad secured victory in the F2 feature race at the Spanish Grand Prix, taking the chequered flag under safety car conditions.

It vaulted the Red Bull junior into the title conversation, with Sebastian Montoya crossing the line in second.

Richard Verschoor also reached the podium at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, to close in championship leader Alex Dunne. The Irishman finished fifth, with Jak Crawford between them on the road.

The McLaren junior also took the extra point for the fastest lap, but is being investigated by the stewards for a yellow flag infringement.

Although a quieter affair on track than the sprint race, the stewards were kept busy with a spate of clashes, two of which involved championship hopeful Luke Browning.

First, the Williams junior was held up by Joshua Durksen, who was handed a five-second time penalty for going off track and gaining an advantage.

Then, Browning pushed Ritomo Miyata off by mistake and damaging his front wing, necessitating a second pit stop. It was an error he received a 10-second time penalty for.

This came after another title protagonist, Leonardo Fornaroli, was awarded a 10-second stop/go penalty for a starting procedure infringement. He would later join Rafael Villagomez in retirement.
