Mitch Evans won the Formula E season-opener in São Paulo from last on the grid, becoming the first driver in the championship's history to ever do so.
Antonio Felix da Costa finished second, ahead of rookie Taylor Barnard. In doing so, Barnard became the youngest-ever FE podium finisher at 20 years old.
However, the race was overshadowed by a terrifying crash for Pascal Wehrlein, who went airborne and flipped over after contact with Nick Cassidy.
Sam Bird finished fourth, securing a McLaren three-four, with Mahindra's Edoardo Mortara completing the top five.
