Alesandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi were crowned as 2025 World Endurance champions despite only finishing third in the Bahrain 8 Hours.
The trio came into the weekend leading by 13 points from the #51 AF Corse crew, but secured the title behind a Toyota 1-2 with the #7 of Nyck de Vries, Mike Conway and Kamui Kobayashi running out victors.
Elsewhere, in his final career race, 2009 F1 champion Jenson Button came home in 16th place in his Cadillac.
