Oscar Piastri went fastest in the third and final hour of practice at the Spanish Grand Prix, beating McLaren team-mate Lando Norris by half a second.
The Australian set a lap time of 1:12.387 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, whilst Charles Leclerc was third quickest.
George Russell and Max Verstappen rounded out the top five, in what was a fairly uneventful session.
The Mercedes driver, along with team-mate Kimi Antonelli, had sat atop the timing board for much of the hour before the final swathe of push laps, highlighting the underlying pace in the W16.
The most noteworthy piece of track action came from Norris, who bottomed out heading into Turn 9 and had to take to the exit road.
Nonetheless, the situation is delicately poised ahead of one of the most important qualifying sessions of the year, given only three grands prix - from 34 occasions - at the venue have been won from lower than the front row.
