F1 drivers and teams are expected to enjoy good conditions for pre-season testing this week in Bahrain, according to current weather forecasts.
The on-track running takes place between Wednesday 26th and Friday 28th February, with cars on-track between 1000-14:00 and 15:00-19:00 local time each day, with Bahrain being three hours ahead of the UK.
It means there is a total of 24 hours of running for teams, with each driver getting 12 hours on track, with it being up to the teams how to divide this time between their drivers.
The weather forecast for the Bahrain International Circuit looks pretty settled across the three-days, with temperatures expected to be around the 15-18 degree celsius mark, with Friday set to be the hottest day at 18 degrees celsius, according to the MetOffice.
There is a low risk of rain for the running, with steady winds throughout the test, blowing in from the north-west and north north-west of about 15-20mph.
Wind from this direction corresponds to a head-wind under braking for Turn 1, but crucially a cross-wind down the hill from Turn 4 and all the way to the tight left-hander of Turn 10.
Friday is expected to feature the biggest gusts with speeds of up to 30mph expected.
