Lewis Hamilton has taken pole position for the sprint race ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix.
The seven-time champion enjoyed a strong session to beat Max Verstappen to the top spot by just two-hundredths of a second.
Championship leader Lando Norris was sixth fastest, while team-mate Oscar Piastri was third, one-tenth behind session leader Hamilton.
Liam Lawson endured a disastrous session and was slowest overall, meaning he is set to line up for the sprint race in 20th place.
