Oscar Piastri has taken pole position for the Chinese Grand Prix, the first time he has done so in his F1 career.
The Australian driver bested Mercedes' George Russell to the top spot, with less than a tenth separating the pair.
Lando Norris was third for McLaren after making a mistake on his final hot lap, but the McLaren driver managed to edge out Max Verstappen on the second row.
Lewis Hamilton could only manage fifth after taking the sprint pole on Friday and will share the third row with team-mate Charles Leclerc.
