Lando Norris has taken pole position for the sprint race in Brazil, besting Kimi Antonelli to the top spot.
Norris has been the man in form all day and could not be defeated by the competition as they took to the track for the top 10 shootout.
Norris ended the session one-tenth ahead of Antonelli, while his team-mate and title rival Oscar Piastri was third.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen voiced his frustration over his car's performance throughout the session and was only sixth.
Fernando Alonso produced a star lap to get his Aston Martin into fifth, two places ahead of team-mate Lance Stroll.
