A disappointing, 80-minute delayed Belgian Grand Prix ended with Oscar Piastri claiming victory, increasing his lead in the F1 drivers' title to 16 points.

Not a single overtake took place within the top eight across the final 32 laps; however, there were still plenty of mixed performances over what was a Sprint weekend.

Below, as ever, RacingNews365 have rated all 20 drivers on their performances!

The top five

Oscar Piastri - 8.5

The championship leader secured a first victory since the Spanish Grand Prix following an excellent overtake on Lando Norris once green flag racing finally got underway. He had great pace all weekend, and secured pole for the sprint. Whilst Max Verstappen defeated him in that, Piastri learnt from the Dutchman to beat Norris when the most points were up for grabs.

Alex Albon - 8.5

Following a run of three consecutive retirements, Alex Albon has rediscovered some form in Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps. Back-to-back points finishes after finishing sixth in Belgium secured crucial points for Williams, increasing its buffer to 27 points in the fight for fifth in the constructors' title.

Charles Leclerc - 8

Charles Leclerc is quietly having a really good season, with his fifth podium of the year having been secured. He showed consistent pace throughout all seasons and pipped Verstappen to the rostrum, on a weekend where Lewis Hamilton faced real difficulties. Leclerc showed real determination in Spa, and increased his advantage over his team-mate.

Max Verstappen - 8

All eyes were on Red Bull and Verstappen going into Belgium, following the axing of Christian Horner. In true Verstappen fashion, the Dutchman got on with business under the leadership of Laurent Mekies for the first time, and nailed the McLarens to win the Sprint. A major downforce setup change robbed the 27-year-old of a fighting chance in the race, but it was overall a really solid weekend from the four-time world champion.

Gabriel Bortoleto - 8

Gabriel Bortoleto is starting to stretch his legs in Formula 1, despite a disappointing crash in Silverstone. He bounced back perfectly in Belgium by progressing to Q3, before finishing ninth in the race to secure Stake yet more brilliant points.

The bottom five

Lance Stroll - 4.5

It was an overall poor weekend for Aston Martin, with Lance Stroll having finished 13th in the sprint and 14th in the grand prix. He did, however, get the better of his team-mate, resulting in a slightly better mark. The biggest disappointment regarding Stroll was how he excelled in tricky conditions in Silverstone, but failed to replicate it in Spa.

Lewis Hamilton - 4.5

Hamilton making up 10 places in the grand prix is the seven-time world champion's lifeline for his rating, following shocking eliminations in both SQ1 and Q1. In the dry, Hamilton offered very little, whilst a costly mistake hurt him in qualifying. Had he qualified closer to the front, a strong result could have been on the cards given his immense early race pace in the damp.

Fernando Alonso - 4

It was a woeful weekend for Fernando Alonso, who suffered his worst finishing position of the season in 17th. The two-time world champion was, as mentioned, also behind Stroll, adding to Alonso's struggles. Finishing towards the bottom ended Alonso's run of four consecutive top 10 finishes.

Franco Colapinto - 4

As has been the case since he replaced Jack Doohan, it was another miserable performance from Franco Colapinto. The Argentinian was 19th in both the sprint and the grand prix, and just struggled for any genuine pace. How much longer he has in the second Alpine car remains to be seen, but he has helped the team progress since it dropped Doohan.

Kimi Antonelli - 3.5

Kimi Antonelli's European nightmare continued in Belgium, with the Mercedes driver having also been eliminated in SQ1 and Q1. He was a dejected figure in the post-qualifying media pen, suggesting the pressure is beginning to get to him. Whilst he felt better in the race, 16th was all he could manage. After six races in Europe, Antonelli has failed to score a point on the continent.
